Alumni Meet Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology

4th Alumni Meet - 19 September 2012

To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, The 4th Alumni Meet, 2012, was inaugurated by the Director of Arya Institute of Engineering & Technology Jaipur, Dr. Arvind Agarwal . The meet started traditionally with the lighting of lamp by the chief guest of the evening and was followed by the Ganesh vandana. The occasion was graced by large numbers of Alumni and their family members ranging across various batches.

Speaking on the occasion, the director underlined and praised the achievements of Alumni of AIET in all walks/spheres of life. He felt that it was matter of great pride for AIET that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various Government organizations, Private sector, and Multi National Companies. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. He praised their contribution towards the growth of their Alma Mater and emphasized the need for further strengthening the linkage between the Alumni and AIET and current students. He also conveyed some of the important points in the meet .

The Inaugural session was also attended by various HODs, Registrar, Faculties and staff members of AIET.The Principal of AIET, Prof M.L Gupta highlighted the achievements of AIET and called for greater Alumni Participation. He presented the report of the activities undertaken by the association since last Alumni Meet in March 2012. He also outlined many future activities to be taken up by the Association & T&P Cell.

The Head of Training & Placement Cell Mrs. Gundeep Chadha welcomed the alumni and their family members in the campus and appreciated their zeal to assemble here despite their busy schedule. Afterwards respected Director Sir distributed Novel "Time Management", as a Souvenir to the AIET Alumni.

The evening was devoted to recreation through cultural activities. The current students of AIET presented events, folk songs and dances depicting rich cultural heritage of every sate of India.

The alumni members appreciated the developments in the various departments. During their conversations with the present student they gave information of their own organization and current status of various industries. Many smaller groups of Alumni, faculty could be seen chatting, singing and sharing memories till wee hours.

The Meet ended with promise to meet again and everyone bid emotional farewell to each other and their beloved AIET.
